Move your education forward, but don't leave what you’ve learned behind. Your past has made you who you are. The courses you’ve taken, the discoveries you’ve made – all are worth more than a few lessons learned. They may be worth college credit – a head start on your degree.
The Golden State College recognizes your achievements. Talk to your Enrollment Services Advisor and find out how many credits your academic and work experience is worth.
The Credits You Can Transfer to the Golden State College
There are two types of credits you can transfer toward your bachelor’s degree at the Golden State College
Traditional Credits
These credits you earned while attending 2- and 4-year colleges and universities. Simply submit your transcripts to have courses reviewed for credit.
Non-Traditional Credits
These credits were earned through professional experience, and national testing programs. Follow the Golden State College guidelines to get started.
Talk to your Enrollment Services Advisor to get all the details about transferring your credits.
The transferability of credits is subject to the Golden State College transfer credit policies, and requires the submission of official transcripts. The official transcripts will be evaluated to determine the credits that will officially apply toward a Golden State College degree program.
