Golden State College

GSC History.jpg

The history of the Golden State College (GSC) can be traced back to the University of California, Berkeley (UCB), which started in 1868. A group of UCB people moved to Center California to plan the establishment of a college. The mission for this college was to educate students, of all walks of life, by giving them an opportunity to learn about academics and their applicability to solve urgent business problems, while paving the way for creating an environment where innovation and disruption would thrive. GSC was the only college at the time. GSC still preserves its UCB heritage by holding dissertation examination process and graduation ceremonies at UCB.
